University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship
University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship: The University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship is open to new undergraduate and postgraduate students from abroad who are applying to pursue taught PGDip or Masters of 120 points or more, or who are applying to study undergraduate degrees at the University of Auckland (with overseas secondary or post-secondary qualifications). Research can be conducted in any field.
The primary objective of the Scholarship is to entice new overseas students of a particularly high caliber to enroll in an undergraduate or postgraduate taught study program at the University of Auckland for a duration of at least one academic year.

Number of Scholarships:
There will be up to fifty scholarships awarded on a biannual basis, with each scholarship having a value of up to ten thousand dollars; these scholarships are intended for postgraduate and undergraduate students.
Applicants must be new international students who have received an unconditional offer of study to undertake a Postgraduate Diploma or Masters (taught) of 120 points or more, or an undergraduate degree (applying with overseas secondary or post-secondary qualifications) at the University of Auckland. Applicants from the English Language Academy (ELA) must have received a conditional offer of study. In most cases, applicants are required to have a grade point equivalent (GPE) that is at least 6.00.
Academic excellence, the quality of the applicant’s cover letter, and support from the applicant’s referee will be taken into consideration during the selection process. The nation of origin of the candidate is something else that the selection committee might take into consideration.

Applications for scholarships will typically become available approximately six weeks before the deadline. The application deadline for classes that start in February is the 21st of November, and the deadline for classes that start in July is the 20th of April.
