In most cases, funding will be provided for a total that is equal to or greater than the conventional length of time spent in school, although it will be awarded for a minimum of two academic years. The institution conducts a review every two semesters to determine whether or not the recipient of a scholarship still satisfies the criteria for receiving the award and whether or not private financing will continue to be available.

Eligibility:

The criteria for receiving a scholarship include civic engagement and special personal achievements, such as a student who has overcome challenges or obstacles in his or her social or family background.

These criteria are in addition to excellent academic results, which are the most important factor. Therefore, the candidate’s social and family history is also something that is taken into consideration. The award is open to students who are already enrolled as well as those who are just starting out.

Application instructions:

Direct applications to universities can be made by students of any nationality who are enrolling in the first or higher semester. The universities are in charge of organizing the selection process, choosing the successful candidates, and contacting possible sponsors with the support of financial funding from the federal government. The deadline to submit an application differs from university to university.
