A Consultancy Contract Agreement

THIS AGREEMENT is made on the 1st of September, 2021 between Company Name having its registered office at Company Address. The EMPLOYER Mr. A, here after called the CONSULTANT and the company Company Name

HEREBY AGREED as follows:

NATURE OF EMPLOYMENT AND DUTIES OF CONSULTANT:

Company Name agrees to employ the SERVICES OF A CONSULTANT and the CONSULTANT agrees to serve Company Name as The Company’s  SITE SUPERVISOR and the Company’s Consultant on Alucobond /Aluminum Works at one of the company’s site at MAITAMA EXTENSION SITES provided that

The company shall have the right from time to time:

  1. To vary the place and nature of the employment within Nigeria,
  2. To require the CONSULTANT to serve, visit or reside in such place or places as the company may think fit,
  3. To direct the CONSULTANT to serve one or all of Company’s Associated and Affiliated Companies,
  4. To direct the CONSULTANT to serve, on the same terms and conditions as provided in this agreement.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

Your duties shall include but not limited to the following:

  • Control and monitoring of staff on site working with/under you.
  • Supervise and cross check the inventory taken at the site to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate all IT related work on site.
  • Ensure all site computer systems are functional and installation of appropriate software done to aid site work.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of professional services on all Aluminum work on site
  • Ensure quality of materials supplied and quality of work done.
  • Ensure that all materials supplied are in compliance with design specifications.
  • Periodic report of work progress to the General Manager
  • Coordinate work schedules and ensuring the timely delivery of goods by external vendors and ensuring that material supplied are in compliance with specification
  • Periodic report of work progress to the General Manager
  • Any other services you offer that may be required of you by the GM.

SALARY AND COMPENSATIONS: The company agrees to pay you the sum of $2,200 (Two Thousand, Two Hundred) United States Dollars as net monthly salary, due at the completion and the end of every three months.

In addition, an allowance of  N150,000.00  (One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira Only) will be paid to you at the end of each  month. End of year bonus is granted at the sole discretion of the management.

Kindly note that monthly allowance will not be paid while away from the country. Allowance will be prorated for the time spent within the country.

HEALTH INSURANCE: Health Insurance will be provided to you on emergency basis coverage and a copy of the policy will be given to you and will remain active for the duration of your contract.

STATUS:  The CONSULTANT is contracted to work in within the country. Kindly refer to additional expatriate procedure for more information.

TRAVEL AND ADDITIONAL BENEFITS: The company will provide 1 (one) Economy Class airline ticket each for the Consultant between the home address and place of work within the country per annum at the completion of the 1st year of service.

A refund shall be made by the consultant should he decide not to complete 1 year of service.

Please note that the air ticket hold no cash value and will not be exchanged for monetary equivalence, should the consultant decide to spend his leave within the country, then no air ticket will be provided by the Employer.

HOUSING: The company will, at its own expenses, provide an accommodation for the Consultant. Such accommodation will be equipped according to the company’s standards. Single occupancy is not guaranteed as there may be times when house mate (s) share the residence.

TRANSPORTATION: The company will provide a vehicle and a company driver for the transportation of the EMPLOYEE to and from the office/site and to conduct all company business and affairs outside of the office.

Should the Consultant require transport for personal purposes, the driver’s overtime and other casual expense related to such personal transport shall be paid by the Consultant.

IMMIGRATION DOCUMENTS AND TAXES: The company will provide all necessary immigration documents to include Business /STR Visas where applicable.

The Consultant is to submit all necessary documents for proper immigration processing on the first day of employment/arrival to the Country. All expatriate taxes will be paid by the company on behalf of the Consultant.

COMMENCEMENT AND DURATION OF EMPLOYMENT:

The employment hereunder shall be deemed to have commenced on the 1st of December, 2021 and shall be in force for a period of one year, unless otherwise renewed, without any notice to that effect.

PROBATIONARY PERIOD: The Consultant shall undergo a probationary period of six months. The completion of this period does not entitle for any benefit

The Consultant is at liberty to resign his appointment by giving the Employer one month notice.

PAYMENT ON TERMINATION:  The Consultant’s salary agreed upon by both parties includes all payments due at time of termination and will be paid according to employment period performed. Any outstanding due to the company will be deducted accordingly.

IMMIGRATION DOCUMENTS: The Consultant shall, upon termination of contract, surrender to the Employer the residence permit (if applicable) granted at the commencement of employment.

SUMMARY DISMISSAL:

The company shall have the right summarily to dismiss the CONSULTANT without notice or payment compensation in any of the following events:

  1. If the CONSULTANT is guilty of dishonesty or misconduct or commits any act which, in the opinion of the company, is likely to bring the or any officials or EMPLOYEES  of the company into disrepute, whether or not such dishonesty, misconduct, insubordination or act is directly related to the affairs of the company.
  2. If the CONSULTANT becomes unfit to fulfill the duties or obligations of his contract through willful neglect or reasonable health precautions or otherwise through his own fault.
  3. If the CONSULTANT commits any breach of any of his obligations under this agreement.
  4. If the CONSULTANT is discovered to have made or given any false statement or document testifying to his ability or competence or relating to this state of health knowing that such statement or document is false
  5. If the CONSULTANT divulges any confidential business information to any outside source that jeopardizes any aspect of the Company.
  6. If the CONSULTANT is discovered to have caused neglect or abuse of the Company property.

This agreement shall be construed and governed by the federal laws.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

PROCUREMENT, PURCHASE AND STORE MANAGEMENT

  • Communicate with suppliers to make sure supplies get where they need to be, even when a deadline is tight.
  • Develop, negotiate and administer purchasing agreements and contracts with suppliers in support of organizational requirements.

A Contract Agreement As A Maintenance Manager

  13. Coordinate the work schedule of the IT department, keep record.
  14. Maintain property insurance policies and follow up with any claims and renewals.
  15. Supervise the office cleaners and Gardner with daily checklist.
  16. Health and safety workers within the company and the head office.
  17. Monitor all contractors and workers and log their visits to the office and Head Office. Make certain they are in proper gear, have ID cards, and reflective jackets.
  18. Monitor cleaning the general surrounding area of the building, including the transformer side.
  19. Any other assignment assigned to you by the management.
